judiciary system that oversees reimbursement rates and malpractice suits.
A simple calc system can determine fair rates for reimbursement that included supply & demand figures. This would keep the best and brightest goinginto those fields
Paying for it 2017 figures, total cost of health care was $3.5T:
Private health insurance costs: $1.2T
Medicare: $ .7T
Medicaid: $ .6T
Out-of-pocket: $ .4T
Write offs by providers: $ .6T
Total: $3.5T
so there would have to be an increase in collections beyond just having companies send the $$$ they send to insurance companies to the single payer overseer.
