Even if 60% to 70% of the people who had abortions or were involved in getting them were Republicans, which I suspect is an overstatement, it isn't the issue as to which candidates/politicians are going to try and reduce or eliminate the number of abortions vs which will push and promote expansion of abortions and even government funding of them.

That discernment is done on an individual basis, rather than on a blanket party decision.
