I believe. I think quite a few of them were the very wealthy & likely Republican.

Margaret Sanger's mantra of "creating a race of thoroughbreds" resonated with them for sure. That's why they helped promote and fund her. Her methodology for eliminating the "human weeds" and "more of the fit and less of the unfit" was through birth control, including forced sterilization and abortion.
