I never argued whether Harris had the physical tools that Martin likes.

The common thread in the examples you give are that those players were receptive to their coach, even if they lacked the physical tools that each coach wanted (and even if Lyons took a bit longer to realize his potential).

Coaches will keep good kids around if they can accept the coaching. Guess what Harris lacks?
