Mark had made it clear that he was more interested in entertaining other offers for basketball.

ultimately though, Martin wanted Mark Smith. Had he felt like there was a good shot to get him, he doesn't take Blake Harris. Because part of roster construction is finding kids who you feel will respond well to you.
