Like most good coaches I believe Robin P isn’t married to a particular system. I just think she saw how FGCU beat us last year and thought their system might fit us well with our returning players. If for example she could recruit a player like the Oregon State center who graduated last year, then you would likely see a more post oriented offense.
The trajectory of Mizzou women’s basketball is upwards. We haven’t had a top 20 recruiting class ever. Even Sophie’s class. Next years class is ranked 12 in the ESPN team ratings. We’re in on some really highly rated players in the following class. If they can follow up our best ever class with another top 20 class, then you can begin dreaming of swimming in the deep water.
We’ve got an outstanding coach who is going to be here for many years to come. Just my opinion. Others could differ and be 100% right.
