Is this 'positionless' basketball a fundamental change for RP, or just a one season stop gap because of our lack of skilled post players?
Will Garner alone being healthy and effective (not a given) be enough to go away from the positionless thing? Is she potentially that good? Because right now we won't be any bigger or better inside next year than we are now, and, arguably, even worse with Sophie graduated.
Ive wondered before if, after steady improvement each year over the last 6 years, Coach RP has taken this program about as far as she is capable of taking it, qualifying for the NCAA tournament every year but not coming remotely close to getting out of the first 2 rounds and reaching the sweet 16. We need to be bigger, better, and more athletic to get past that now, and she hasn't yet shown the ability to recruit that kind of size and talent here.
