If the plan is to play positionless basketball with very limited post players, you need some great shooting. You have to be able to shoot with people running at you or a hand in your face. Another attribute might be really good one on one players.
I thought fairly early on our talent didn’t match so well with the scheme, but I understand why Coach P is trying to use the system.
We’ve had to replace two veteran inside players with inexperienced players more perimeter oriented. Recruiting wasn’t that great in a few classes, but it’s looking up for next season.
I think the team could use a senior transfer like the men’s team have used. It’s happening fairly often in women’s basketball now too.
