the experience part of it kinda keeps you balanced. The weeks of dieting or having to be conservative on how to live are hard to get through, but you enjoy both the running and the burritos more when they are all acting in unison. Energy input and output feels good, and you gotta take time to feel and live sometimes or else what's the point of being here. But all that said, yeah, running 14 miles and not losing weight really makes you go WTF.
