for a guy that didn't like to recruit, was mentioned to be a dick by some here, and who shared our playbook to our opponents upon departure.

He was a good coach, but there are other good coaches. A lot of the fall-off was talent. You lost Brantley and Brady from the 2015 team. You lost Brothers to the NFL. You lost Dennis and Simon from the secondary, as well as Courtland Browning.

It was a young roster and if you were going to make a philosophical switch for long-term gain, then it was the right time to do so. The mistake he made was listening to the *****ing from the fan base and not sticking with it. We should have endured a year of pain to get better. Instead, he flopped back and now they're in between on systems and we've got pain again.
