He seemed to think he was hired because of his credentials. That had little to do with it. He was hired because he was viewed as an extension of Gary Pinkel. A close protoge. Someone that would continue the program Gary had built. Instead, we immediately got a new offense, a new defense, a dysfunctional team that beats itself every week, inconsistent special teams play, and almost an all new coaching staff. That by definition isn't a Gary Pinkel team. We got no continuity with the past, and that's why the KC Chapter was practically rioting the other day, and others should be as well. We were betrayed by this hire. Everyone knows it. It's past time to make a change.
