The courts have determined that imigration is a Federal issue and not states.

The new arguement presented today is an interesting twist and undercuts you previously stated position

Absent hearing more believe the courts have it wrong and imigration is a state issue. This would also include if they choose to do so, movement between the states, not just between countries that border the States.

States do not directly restrict movement of US citizens bewteen the States. There regulations however can and do have this effect in certain professions
