I'm not sure if there is one.

There isn't any course of action against the offender at this point. However, if damages can be claimed (with an applicable cause of action, which is the "rub" perhaps) against the reporters, newspaper &/or another defendant for the recent events, then it worth examining.

It's probably not likely, but it is also a unique situation or at least, very rare.
