Yeah you got me on that. Prove to me, you say, that the Christian accounts are not supported elsewhere?

PROVE TO ME THIS DOES NOT EXIST. SHOW ME WHERE IT IS NOT MENTIONED. Point out the very line where it isn't.

Come on lil guy - I asked very simply for you to show me where it IS supported. I get crickets.

And I did not claim the New Testament is not "rooted in history", merely that there is not supporting documentation to the details of the crucifixion. My point was that Pilate - a tyrant who executed THOUSANDS - was not giving this one guy TWO trials, let alone as the NT claims that Pilate personally questioned him.

My claim is there is NO documentation to support any of it. Faith in eternal life? I am all over it. But the claim that there is a-biblical historic support is wrong. Prove me otherwise
