Its not just the public schools. It is also the nonexistence of the family (two parent) unit in our intercity voter plantations. When I was in school, it was as much about my parents attitude about education as it was what the school system did. The progressive liberal "gobalist" Dems have happily presided over the intercity voter plantations for decades. You usually get what you ask for!
