Ossama bin Laden's "plan" was to draw the US into a war in Afghan.
Worked like a fcking charm.
Once the US LOST the Afghan war as the Sovs had, then - in ObL's thinking, the US population would demand a cessation to THAT war and others in the Middle East. bin Laden wanted the US to get the fck out. Wanted US troops OUT of Medina, US-enforced UN sanctions to end in Iraq and US blind support of Israel.
Those were the three.
ObL had no desire to 'defeat' the US, he just wanted us OUT of the Middle East.
What he did not count on was the US war industry that makes fortunes in our wars.
We've been in Afghan ever since.
Yes, per my life. How easy is it to get on a plane? How easy is it to find out what you have taken out from the library - you CANNOT find that out. let alone the fact that HOMELAND SECURITY is the nation';s largest agency. What are you trying to argue?
