When a kid goes from unranked to 3-stars with a single commitment?
Or he goes from 2 stars to 3 immediately after an offer?

The offers come in after summer camps. A very VERY small percentage of the ranking could come from someone who saw something that the other scouts didn't.

Do you think Rivals met any of these players or interviewed them?
