It was mentioned somewhere on here that tickets sold are currently running somewhere around 9,000 per game, which leaves 6,000 in unsold inventory. I question the 9,000 figure, but let's say that a new coach at least brings a renewed interest and that tickets sold number goes up by 5,000. Note, capacity is 15k so we still have 1,000 in unsold inventory per game. Anyway, single game ticket prices range from $20-$50 right now, so let's use a conservative average of $30 for each ticket.
5,000 tickets x $30 = $150,000
x 17 home games = $2,550,000 in ticket sales
I don't know what people spend on concessions and crap, but let's say the average person spends an additional $10 per game. That seems conservative too.
5,000 additional fans x 17 games x $10 in concessions = $850,000 in concessions
Kim Anderson currently makes $1.1 million per year, so if we're not paying that anymore we can add that in. (I know there are buyouts and such but for the sake of argument lets go with it.)
$2,550,000
+ $850,000
+ $1,100,000
= $3,400,000
That alone isn't $5MM, but it's a start.
