heinous act, the act will never happen and hence in this reality or timeline, I will have murdered an innocent man, guilty of nothing.
There is no intrigue here.
If I don't murder him, the other reality may or may not happen based on an infinite number of other hypotheticals that could occur between the time of my opportunity and his heinous act.
If I were religious, I'd tell you it's not my job grade to render judgment nor to kill, period.
