going back in time and killing adolph hitler as an infant, or child.
Would it be a good idea to take a still innocent life and end it, in order to avoid the horrors that the grown hiltler inflicted on the world?
An interesting moral dilemma.
Question number one: Would you do it, if you were certain to be caught? You could not realistically defend yourself. You would be tried and convicted.
Still worth it?
Question number two: Suppose you knew, with certainty garnered from god himself, that baby john doe, or baby mohamed el-mohamed was a similarly inclined maniac. And would generate even greater carnage in his name.
You could kill the innocent john doe, but again you would certainly be caught with no reasonable defense. John or mohamed, would as only you know, develop a new nuclear weapon and use it on europe and america. Death to billions. Only you can stop him.
