as the condition remains unmet. 2 Samuel 6:23 would mean for such time as would pass before her death. Matthew 1:25 would then read, he did not know her for the time that passed before Jesus was born.

That is not a problem for me. The text said he didn't have sex with her right up to the time Christ was born. How odd to say that, if one meant he never had sex with her.
