The inspired text says that Joseph didn't know Mary, "till" after Christ was born. Use some common sense. Why is the word even in there if they never had sexual relations? It would read, he never knew her, not, he didn't know her till Jesus was born. Really, your alleged explanation and contortions of the text is bizarre.
Keep it simple. Let the text do the talking. Don't speak for it. The text says till. It always has, it always will. The text says firstborn son, not firstborn, and firstborn is a modifier of the word son, not a substitute.
