What's your definition of a cratered program?

I don't think a program coming of NCAA tourneys 5 of the 6 previous seasons and with multiple top 150 players on the roster was cratered. When I think of a cratered program I think of Baylor after Dave Bliss or a program that has been stuck in the basement of a conference for years like Penn State, BC, or Washington State.
