or, in theory, Quin Snyder. They both had the potential to recruit nationally, or at least regionally. CKA does not appear to have that. Mizzou cannot rely on top in-state recruits for basketball. It simply cannot because it's not going to get them. SLU is more likely to get them than we are. Stewart was really only successful in his later years when he was able to get players like Smith, Buntin, Booker, Dooling and Gilbert out of other parts of the country. He never got superstars from Missouri outside of Peeler. To think you are going to hire a coach like Kim Anderson and successfully recruit in-state cream of the crop is wacky.
