a round robin schedule ensures that the two teams will have played each other before. There's absolutely no drama. So when team A beats team B in the regular season, and team B beats team A in the CCG, the very first thing out team A's mouth is "2 out of 3!". Team A is going to be very p*ssed that they had to play the game in the first place.

In a two division conference, rematches rarely occur because whoever lost the regular season game had less chance to make the CCG.

This is a real sh*tshow....
