were very good. We had some great running backs from that decade (Wilder, Brown, Galbreath, Gant, etc.) along with some great defensive backs and wide receivers. Not to mention the first tight end ever inducted into the NFL Hall of Fame.

The big problem with Onofrio is that he didn't seem capable of keeping his teams focused from one week to the next. Inevitably, we would spring a huge upset on the likes of 'Bama, USC and Ohio State only to lose a stinker to some **** poor team.
