the new settlement was either a result of the NIL situation or it was just another way for athletes to be given the right to money from somewhere.

College athletics was enjoyed by millions for decades with no big problem(s). I see no good reason yet for major changes and it certainly will not IMO improve college sports for most schools, coaches or fans.
