in the more true bowl system" - the playoffs, not so much. Now making and winning a bowl is not the kind of successful season it was in 2007, 2008, 2013, 2014 etc. Missouri has done just as well under NIL but haven't "made the playoffs" so it's looked upon as a failure by many.
