It's true that Haith lost to 15-seed Norfolk, but Gates was *blown out* by 15-seed Princeton (which squandered our luckiest tournament draw ever). So that's a wash.
But most of all, Haith never went 0 and fvcking 19.
Imagine how bad a coach has to be to go 0-19 at Mizzou. Even Kim Anderson was able to win a couple games in conference play each year.
The only difference is that now we can throw NIL money at the problem to out-talent the competition. And that's exactly what we've done, with the deepest roster MUBB has ever had. The downside is that it's expensive, unsustainable, and diverts resources away from FB and other programs.
