Dennis Gafes was hired because he was black. She could have hired any number of minority candidates. She could have hired a black, trans, gay, midget if she wanted to go all out on a DEI hire. She also hired the volleyball coach who is doing very well. Is she a DEI hire too? Quit being obtuse.
