Your opinion defers from mine. No biggie.
"Big difference between 5-13 and 0-18".
No doubt, it was an ugly, f'd up season, one I will never revisit. So, for me, 5-13 makes no difference.
I look at it like this, I wouldn't beat up on someone with a learning disability. If the they can't comprehend then they just can't comprehend. It is what it is. 2023-24 didn't have the talent even with East III, Bates (and sometimes Honor) playing their azzes off.
"I mean, you'd think Gates would've won at least a couple games by mere chance (like KA)."
Chance: The unknown and unpredictable element in happenings that seems to have no assignable cause.
Simply put, sheit happens. 2023-24 team had chances to win. They didn't.
Comparing KA's seasons to DG one bad season is just silly since they didn't have the same players.
