Watching the fire-everybody a**holes come out of the woodwork last year wasn't easy to deal with. Gates is like 90 percent of the coaches in America ... He's good with good players, and he almost totally remade the roster from last years.

This year, the Tigers have quality depth at most spots, and I think Gates can build on this.
