play a round robin where everyone is guaranteed 9 games. Season starts July 1st, tournament July 15.

Then the top 64 teams left play a single elimination tournament at a neutral site like in say, Portland Maine.

Some team will finish like 320 in the standings, where they belong. The cream rises to the top.
