God speaks asking if he should tell Abraham what he is going to do. God decides that God isn’t going to hide it from Abraham. God says he is going to Sodom to see the outcry. God heads to Sodom with Abraham. Abraham at this point knows God intends to destroy Sodom. He then pleads with God and stops when God agrees on if 10 righteous men are found. Judgment has been cast already. It would only be stayed if 10 righteous men live there.

Then two angels go into the city. They go to Lot’s house, the attempted gang rape starts with 19:4 stating that everyone in town was involved.

1) Chapter 18, God rendered judgment.
2) Abraham appealed to mercy.
3) God agreed to be merciful if 10 righteous men were found.
4) Angels go looking for 10 righteous men.
5) Whole town wants to gang rape them, showing 10 men couldn’t be found.
