I was much closer to the program at that time and I know how bad they wanted the Big Ten. They knew how desperate the situation was and would never have turned it down. So we can agree to disagree, but I don’t think it ever happened. it was 100 year decision so junior membership is not a big deal. And another myth busted: Nebraska is totally happy with the big 10. Their problems have nothing to do with being a member of that league.
