turned it down. it never happened. Nebraska was chosen over Missouri. Then Missouri waited and saw the SEC is the best way to get the hell out. I don’t know why this is that big of a deal. They wanted the big 10 and they didn’t get it so they went to the SEC which was very good. You have it in Alden’s and Deaton’s own words that they never were offered a big 10 membership.

It’s a myth. It never happened. People wrote books that it never happened. Alden and Deaton admitted it never happened. I’m not sure what more you want
