The AAU has specific requirements for admission that have nothing to do with athletics.

If the big ten could control the AAU, there is no way Nebraska would have gotten kicked out.

As you have stated there are rumors of the nubs getting kicked out because they aren't members, wouldn't it be better for the conference if they just "lobbied" for them to get their membership back?
