if A&M feels confident that a 'Super Conference' is an inevitability in the near future, aligning themselves with the B10 now to gain access to their Academic Alliance (formerly known as the CIC-the Committee on Institutional Cooperation) would be a great move. It would be a very forward thinking approach but it's the reason all the academics wanted us to go to the B10 for all those years. It would give them an academic cachet that even texas wouldn't have.
