Kobe and Carter combined to play 51 mpg. There was easily time for Diarra to play close to 20 mpg when he was at Mizzou. He wasn’t at a point in his development to play that many minutes.
You keep making the error of comparing Diarra to Carter. They both would have been starters had the stayed. Diarra would have crushed what Mizzou got from guys that played the 5. Which probably would have helped the development of a guy like Butler who got overexposed because Diarra transferred and the transfer bigs they prioritized chose other schools.
