They put the guys out there that give them the best chance at winning. In Diarra’s season at Mizzou the combo of Carter and Kobe gave the team the best chance at winning.

Diarra disagreed on the role Gates had planned for him last season so left. Comparing Carter to Diarra last season is a mistake as they both would have been starters. Diarra took time to develop as was expected when he committed to Mizzou.
