may have been better playing next to Kobe that year but Mo had more upside and would have contributed far more than Carter last year. Note it did not take Mo time to adjust, Keats cut his rotation, played Mo more minutes and he showed what he could do. Carter showed that w/o Kobe and being the main guy inside was far more than he could handle.
