To be fair, we still wouldn't be a good team (I doubt we'd even be "on the bubble" to be honest), but we would not have zero wins in SEC play.

Gates will be here next year. Period. I'm not saying we aren't terrible, and it certainly is fair to criticize this team and to be frustrated with how they have performed this season. And our coaching staff is responsible for much of this.

But looking forward, we should all be hoping that he can retain the kids on the roster who are worth keeping, and bring in a few good transfers to go along with the highly ranked recruiting class. We should be hoping that next year is an improvement instead of giving up on him when he's less than 2 years into his coaching career at Mizzou.
