currently works at an inner-city high school. Last year they started the school year short six math teachers. City schools always struggle more with staff attrition for obvious reasons but now even suburban schools are struggling to fill positions. That means that urban schools are finding themselves in an ever-worsening situation. They find themselves filling openings with long term subs or teachers they would otherwise never retain.
