I know exactly what kept oil companies from drilling and it wasn't the administration, it was uncertainty in price and the lack of drilling infrastructure after covid. Had rigs been available, I doubt if we would have stepped up drilling in the first year because we weren't sure how demand was going to respond long term to covid. By the time we did start drilling, there were not near enough rigs available to ramp back up quickly. You think drilling crews that aren't getting paid are going to stick around for a couple of years?

Biden's policies had absolutely nothing to do with slowing production down or ramping it back up. That's asinine.
