The concept of reductio ad absurdum is often used in logic. It exposes how a particular line of reasoning breaks down in certain circumstances and that line of reasoning is shown to have absurd results in those circumstances.
An honest person would look to see if their reasoning would in fact break down in those circumstances and then see if there is some way to reconcile things if that is the case, or adjust their reasoning to account for that breakdown.
Unfortunately, you have chosen not to take the high road here, but inaccurately claimed the person who pointed out this problem with your reasoning was himself engaging in a logical fallacy.
You are either being dishonest, or more likely making another error in reasoning.
