Step number one to solving any problem is to identify the problem. On a number of issues facing America today, we refuse to do that because it is not politically expedient.

Forget crime and look back to our Covid response. We very quickly knew what conditions made you more susceptible to it. If you were overweight, diabetic or had heart or respiratory conditions it was a very dangerous virus. If none of those applied to you it was only serious in very rare circumstances.

I cannot recall the number of times I heard it reported that Covid was more dangerous to AAs. No, it wasn't, it was more dangerous to unhealthy people and the AA community has a much larger percentage of them. But we cannot make people feel bad about their life choices today so we chalked it up to skin color, something they cannot control.

Please explain why this message is being reported.
