I don't know how traditional grocery stores stay in business

I can shop at Aldi's and Walmart for almost half the price. I only go to traditional stores for specialty things I cannot get at the discount places (and their parking lots and check out lines are almost empty). I rarely buy any food product that is advertised any more as well - that's just paying a premium to the company to tell you that you need the product.
