You're right, it's a people problem. We've given nuclear weapons to monkeys. In a totally unmoderated platform of any size, anyone sane is run off by the hordes of morons. We weren't meant to communicate at that scale. The only reason things have grown as large as they have is because *someone* had to be the grownup, whether you agree with them or not. Take that away, and the whole thing collapses.
