But it isn't an echo-chamber, that's wrong. It's a chamber where everyone has a voice.
The fact it devolves into racism and conspiracies doesn't have anything to do with the internet. It has to do with the people.
And devolve from what? I'd consider what we have now, a partisan corporate-controlled town square, to be a devolution from where we used to be. That is an echo chamber.
Let the crazies talk. Let people judge what they say. That's how it always worked.
