want some open, anything goes internet. There are plenty of open internet sites out there and none of them get much traction beyond being niche communities. 4chan, Parler, Truth Social, and Voat are just a few I can think of off the top of my head and none of used beyond a small user base. None are anywhere close to being mainstream or being a competitor.

4chan is probably the closest to being mainstream and they get like 20 million users a month. That's about the same amount that MySpace gets per month to tell you how irrelevant they are.

It's going to be funny to watch people get shocked when Elon doesn't change much. He's not risking billions by making big, drastic changes. He's going to let some people out of twitter jail and maybe loosen up moderation a little but overall, nothing much is going to change.
